At Panduit, we believe in the transformative power of skills training — to uplift individuals, drive economic progress, and create inclusive career opportunities. That’s why we proudly promote vocational education across the Asia Pacific through our regional initiative: #SkillsChangeLives.
In China, this campaign comes to life through meaningful partnerships, hands-on learning, and long-term support for students in technical fields.
In 2023, after two years of dedicated efforts, Panduit China officially became a corporate partner of Shanghai Zhonghua Vocational School. Through this collaboration, we support students majoring in computer-related fields by establishing a simulated data center for teaching purposes and offering outstanding graduates potential opportunities for internships and full-time employment.
On June 21, 2024, as part of Panduit Asia Pacific’s Skills Change Lives initiative, students from Shanghai Zhonghua Vocational School visited the Panduit Shanghai CBC office to gain firsthand experience of real-world data center infrastructure. During their visit, Linda Zhu, HR Manager for China, introduced Panduit’s COA culture and conducted an interview skills training session for graduating students.
From April 23 to 25, 2024, Panduit and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) Examination Center co-organized a structured cabling engineer certification training for Zhonghua Vocational School’s computer science students — further reinforcing their technical foundation and employability.
Panduit China has long demonstrated a strong commitment to social responsibility. Through our partnership with Shanghai Zhonghua Vocational School, we aim to equip students preparing for blue-collar careers with the resources, support, and guidance they need to successfully transition into the workforce and explore meaningful career paths.
By investing in vocational education, we are helping to close the skills gap, strengthen the talent pipeline, and support the sustainable development of the communities we serve.
We believe that when students are given the right tools, mentorship, and opportunities — skills can truly change lives..
